Hornet director Sam Mason teamed up with ongoing client Spotify to create cross-platform content honoring Spotify's featured nominees for Best New Artists at the Grammys. Not traditionally a type designer, Sam created conceptual and inventive uses of type, footage, backgrounds, palette, and transitions to create a modular content package that, fittingly, dances and grooves to a beat. Spotify utilized these elements through all channels including digital and experiential live events leading up to, and surrounding, the Grammys.
